2026 Small Works & Silent Bids
Artist Application

Please note that this event is first come, first served. Space is limited, and we will accept artists until all available spots are filled. We recommend submitting your application as soon as possible to reserve your space.

Conditions for Entry- Dates and Times

  • Eligibility: Open to all Renton Art Oasis members

  • All art will be accepted if size requirement guidelines are met

  • Application Open: Wednesday, September 23rd

  • Application Deadline: Saturday, October 25th

  • Event Date: Saturday, November 14th (5 pm- 9 pm)

  • Where: Luther's Table 419 S 2nd St #1, Renton, WA 98057

  • Entry Fee: $30 (includes up to 3 pieces of art; non-refundable; no commission fee)

Drop-off Dates & Times:
We are requesting all entries be dropped off ahead of time so they can be organized and to assure they meet requirements ahead of the event. Fill out the form below and attach to each piece of artwork before dropping off.

  • November 5th, 6 pm – 8 pm

  • November 7th, 1 pm – 3 pm
    (Email cathy@rentonartoasis.com to schedule appointment if unavailable during these times)

Drop-off Address: 16020-1/2 114th Ave SE, Renton, WA 98055

Each artist will be given a pick-up slip at drop-off.This slip must be presented in order to retrieve artwork at pick-up.

Unclaimed Artwork: Unsold work left beyond return dates will become property of Renton Art Oasis

Artwork Submission Requirements

Small Works Art Exhibition

General:

  • Up to 3 pieces per artist

  • Family-friendly only (no nudity, explicit content, or violence)

  • Labels for artwork and donation included in Rules & Guidelines (link above). Please fill out, print and attach to the back of your artwork before dropping off.

2D Art (watercolor, ink, oil, acrylic, drawing, mixed media, digital):

  • Max size: 164 sq in (e.g., 10x16, 12x12) Include the frame when measuring your artwork.

  • Properly framed or gallery-wrapped (no white edges)

  • Flat canvas boards must be framed

  • Hanging: D-rings + picture wire (wire taped)

  • Must be completely dry

  • Information label on back of artwork (label included in Rules & Guidelines)

  • Frames inspected; adjustments required before acceptance

 

Sculpture (metal, fired clay, fabric, glass, stone, wood):

  • Free-standing with stable base or relief with support

  • Max size: 16x16x16

  • Max weight: 10 lbs

  • Information label on bottom or attached to artwork (label included in Rules & Guidelines)

Silent Auction 

We are inviting art donations for the auction to help make this event a success. Your contributions not only highlight the remarkable talent of our local artists but also provide vital support for Renton Art Oasis programs and community events. Auction label on back of artwork (donation label included in Rules & Guidelines)
