Mission Statement

Renton Art Oasis is a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing the creative spirit of Renton’s local artists through access to resources, public exposure, and community-driven programming. We believe art is for everyone, and we work to remove barriers by offering free or low-cost classes, providing art supplies, and creating inclusive spaces where all people—regardless of background or income—can participate. Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant arts scene by empowering artists and fostering meaningful connections between creators and the community.

We believe:

Art lives everywhere - not just in galleries or studios, but in neighborhoods, conversations, and everyday acts of creativity.

Art is for everyone - every voice matters, and every form of expression
has value.

Art builds community - bringing people together to imagine, heal, and grow.

If it comes from a place of intention, imagination, or lived experience,
it belongs here.
