RTC - Culinaire Room
Artist Application
Thank you for your interest in exhibiting your work at Renton Technical College. We are excited to offer an ongoing rotating art display that will showcase local artists and bring fresh, engaging artwork to the campus community each month.
Each monthly rotation can accommodate approximately 16 to 18 artists, allowing us to highlight a diverse range of styles, mediums, and creative voices. To keep the process simple and accessible, you only need to complete this application once. Approved artists will be scheduled into upcoming rotations as space becomes available.
We will rotate artists each month to ensure we can provide opportunities to as many members of our creative community as possible. Once the college confirms drop off dates and times for each rotation, we will notify participating artists with those details.

Artwork Pick-Up (Required)

Each artist will be given a pick-up slip at drop-off. This slip must be presented in order to retrieve artwork at pick-up.

Artwork will not be released without the corresponding pick-up slip.
Unclaimed Artwork: Unsold work left beyond return dates will become property of Renton Art Oasis
Artwork Requirements & Display Guidelines
Eligibility:

This exhibition is open to 2D artwork only.

Photography and digital art are accepted, provided they are properly framed or gallery-wrapped.

All artwork must be family-friendly (no nudity, explicit content, no political art or violence).
Space & Display Limitations:

Each artist may submit up to 4 pieces of artwork, with a maximum size of 20 x 24 inches per piece (including the frame).

Alternatively, artists may choose to submit one larger piece of artwork. Larger works must be no bigger than 3 ft x 3 ft (including the frame).

Please note there is no additional overflow space. Artists will be installed directly next to one another and must remain within their designated display area.

Presentation Requirements:

Work must be properly framed or gallery-wrapped (no exposed white edges).

Flat canvas boards must be framed.

All pieces must be ready to hang using D-rings and picture wire (wire must be securely taped).

Artwork must be completely dry at the time of drop-off.
Important:

Frames will be inspected upon drop-off. Any work not meeting requirements may require adjustment before acceptance.
Labeling Artwork (Required)
Artists must attach one label directly to the back of each artwork.
No loose papers, envelopes, or additional sheets will be accepted.
Each label must be typed and include:

Sales

All artwork sales will be processed by Renton Art Oasis. A [20]% commission will be retained to support future arts programming. Credit card processing fees will be deducted separately from the total sale. Payments to artists will be issued within 10 days after the exhibition ends.
Submission of Artwork Image & Pricing

All participating artists must submit finished artwork at the time of application. An image of each submitted piece and its corresponding price must be included with the application.

Please note that applications must reflect the final artwork being submitted. No changes to artwork, images, or pricing will be accepted after the application has been submitted, and late submissions will not be accepted.
