Online Community Art Night: Zentangles

This month’s Community Art Night focuses on Zentangles — a relaxing, meditative art form that combines flowing lines and repeated patterns. We’ll begin by creating free-flowing shapes with paint, and once they dry, we’ll fill the spaces with intricate designs known as Zentangles. No experience is needed — just come ready to unwind and explore your creativity!

This class follows a “Pay What You Can” model.

• Suggested donation: $10 (participants provide their own supplies)

• $20 donation helps cover the cost for another participant

• Any amount is appreciated — and please feel free to sign up even if you can’t donate at this time. Your contributions help us make art more accessible by providing scholarships for future classes.

Supplies (not included):

• Acrylic or tempera paint

• Canvas panel (8x10) or heavyweight paper (at least 300 gsm / 140 lb)

• Cup of water

• Paintbrushes

• Permanent marker

• Felt-tipped markers (variety of sizes)

• Paper towels or cleaning supplies
