Small Works & Silent Bids

Renton Art Oasis is thrilled to invite you to the second annual Small Works & Silent Bids Event, a free community evening of art, music, and generosity.
The night centers on an exhibit of small-scale works created by Renton Art Oasis artists, a chance to see the creativity of our community up close and discover pieces that are easy to love and easy to take home. Alongside the exhibit, our silent auction runs throughout the event, so you can browse, place your bids, and check back as the evening unfolds.
While you wander, enjoy live music from local performers, refreshments, and a raffle with chances to win some great prizes. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re an art collector, a longtime supporter, or simply curious.
All proceeds benefit Renton Art Oasis programs, helping us keep art free and low-cost for our community. We’d love to see you there!

Eligibility: Open to all Renton Art Oasis members

Application Open: Wednesday, September 23rd

Application Deadline: Saturday, October 24th (or until all spots are filled)

Entry Fee: $30 (includes up to 3 pieces of art; non-refundable; no commission fee)

Final artwork does not need to be ready at the time of applying, just apply with similar examples of past works
Drop-off Dates & Times
We are requesting all entries be dropped off ahead of time so they can be organized and to assure they meet requirements ahead of the event. Fill out the form below and attach to each piece of artwork before dropping off.

Drop-off Address: 16020-1/2 114th Ave SE, Renton, WA 98055
Each artist will be given a pick-up slip at drop-off. This slip must be presented in order to retrieve artwork at pick-up.

Artwork Submission Requirements
Small Works Art Exhibition

Up to 3 pieces per artist

Family-friendly only (no nudity, explicit content, or violence)

Labels for artwork and donation included in Rules & Guidelines (link above). Please fill out, print and attach to the back of your artwork before dropping off.
2D Art (watercolor, ink, oil, acrylic, drawing, mixed media, digital):

Max size: 164 sq in (e.g., 10x16, 12x12) Include the frame when measuring your artwork.

Properly framed or gallery-wrapped (no white edges)

Flat canvas boards must be framed

Hanging: D-rings + picture wire (wire taped)

Must be completely dry

Sculpture (metal, fired clay, fabric, glass, stone, wood):

Silent Auction
We are inviting art donations for the auction to help make this event a success. Your contributions not only highlight the remarkable talent of our local artists but also provide vital support for Renton Art Oasis programs and community events.
