Sonali Bhasin is a visual artist and art educator whose work is rooted in curiosity, connection, and the simple joy of creating. A self-taught artist with 9+ years of experience, Sonali works across a diverse range of art mediums and traditions, including acrylics, watercolor, texture painting, soft pastels, oil pastels, mandalas, coffee painting, decoupage, Lippan art, Madhubani, Warli, and mixed media. Her work is inspired by color, patterns, textures, nature, and the freedom to create without worrying about perfection.

For Sonali, art is a way to slow down, notice what is within, and allow ideas and emotions to find their way onto the canvas. This belief also shapes the way she teaches art, creating welcoming, playful spaces where people of all ages can experiment, express themselves, and discover their own creative voice.

Over the years, Sonali has explored 35+ art forms and led 100+ art workshops for children, adults, senior communities, and organizations. She has participated in local exhibitions, art walks, community programs, and artisan fairs, including the Issaquah Open Studio Tour and Renton Fairwood Market, and continues to create and teach continues to create and teach throughout the local art community. Her artistic journey has also led her to facilitate Art Healing Sessions, blending creativity with gentle reflection and emotional expression. Through intuitive art-making, participants are invited to slow down, express, release and reconnect with themselves. Through her art and workshops, Sonali hopes to remind people that you don't have to be an artist to experience the joy of creating, you simply have to give yourself permission to begin.
