My artistic journey has been shaped by a lifetime of travel, cultural immersion, theatre, spirituality, and an enduring fascination with the relationship between humanity and its surroundings. Born into an Air Force family, I grew up across different regions of India and the Middle East, experiences that nurtured an appreciation for diverse cultures, landscapes, and visual traditions. My early involvement with theatre and dance, coupled with formal training in Fine Arts, laid the foundation for a multidisciplinary approach to artistic expression.Today, my work is characterized by rich textures, layered surfaces, and a semi-abstract visual language that seeks to evoke both memory and emotion. Nature remains a constant source of inspiration—not merely as landscape, but as a metaphor for growth, resilience, transformation, and the unseen connections that bind us to the world around us. Through textured forms, organic motifs, and symbolic imagery, I explore the emotional terrain of human experience. My Aurelia Series examines themes of inner light, renewal, and transcendence, while the Pilgrim and Benares Series reflect mankind’s eternal search for meaning, faith, and belonging. The Dancers Series captures movement, rhythm, and the energy of the human spirit. Across all these bodies of work, I seek to create spaces for contemplation, inviting viewers to engage with the layered narratives of nature, spirituality, memory, and human emotion.
